Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules for using the Easeinbiz platform. By accessing or using Easeinbiz, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination without refund.

1. Purpose

Easeinbiz is built to help African businesses manage teams, clients, content, finance, and payroll — all in one place. This policy protects the platform, our users, and the integrity of the service by setting clear boundaries on how it may be used.

2. Permitted Uses

You may use Easeinbiz to:

  • Manage internal team tasks, projects, and workflows.
  • Handle client relationships and communications through the CRM and client portal.
  • Plan, create, schedule, and approve marketing content and campaigns.
  • Collect leads and build custom forms for your business.
  • Track business finances: sales, invoices, expenses, and payroll.
  • View and manage analytics from connected social media and ad platforms.
  • Collaborate with authorized team members within your organization.
  • Invite clients to view and approve content through the client portal.

3. Prohibited Uses

The following uses of Easeinbiz are strictly prohibited. Violation of any of these rules may result in immediate account suspension.

3.1 Illegal Activities

  • Using the platform to facilitate any activity that violates Nigerian law or applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
  • Storing, transmitting, or sharing content that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Money laundering, fraud, or any financial crime using the finance or invoicing features.
  • Impersonating individuals, organizations, or government bodies.

3.2 Platform Abuse

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, workspaces, or systems.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from the platform.
  • Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, or any malicious code.
  • Using automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access or scrape the platform without written permission.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the platform infrastructure, servers, or other users' access.
  • Performing penetration testing or security scans without prior written authorization from Easeinbiz.

3.3 Data Misuse

  • Using client data, lead data, or form responses for purposes beyond your stated business use.
  • Sharing access credentials with unauthorized parties.
  • Storing sensitive personal data of third parties without a legal basis (e.g., collecting health or financial data via forms without consent).
  • Collecting data from minors under the age of 18.

3.4 Spam & Unsolicited Communication

  • Sending unsolicited bulk emails, messages, or notifications through the platform.
  • Using the lead management or forms features to collect and contact people without their consent.
  • Misrepresenting the origin of communications sent through Easeinbiz.

3.5 Resale & Unauthorized Distribution

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or white-labelling access to the Easeinbiz platform without a written reseller agreement.
  • Sharing accounts across multiple organizations to circumvent plan limits.
  • Creating multiple free accounts to exploit Free plan features beyond their intended scope.

4. Content Standards

Any content you create, upload, or share within the platform must not:

  • Be hateful, discriminatory, or threatening toward any individual or group.
  • Contain explicit sexual, violent, or graphic material.
  • Infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Contain personally identifiable information (PII) of individuals who have not consented to its storage.
  • Misrepresent facts in a way that could cause harm to others.

5. Resource Usage

  • Your use of storage, API calls, and platform resources must stay within the limits of your subscription plan.
  • Intentional overuse or abuse of platform resources that degrades performance for other users is prohibited.
  • Easeinbiz reserves the right to throttle or restrict usage that significantly exceeds plan limits.

6. Enforcement

  • Easeinbiz monitors platform usage for suspicious activity, policy violations, and security threats.
  • We may investigate any reported or detected violation and take appropriate action.
  • Actions may include: warning, temporary suspension, permanent termination, or legal referral depending on severity.
  • Accounts terminated for AUP violations are not entitled to a refund.
  • We reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement agencies regarding illegal activity.

7. Reporting Violations

If you witness or suspect a violation of this policy — including unauthorized use of your account or harmful content — please report it immediately to support@easeinbiz.com with as much detail as possible. We take all reports seriously and will investigate within 2 business days.

8. Updates to This Policy

This AUP may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
