Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscriptions on the Easeinbiz platform. We want to be transparent about when refunds are available and how cancellations work. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to this policy.

1. Subscription Billing

  • All paid plans (Basic, Pro, Agency) are billed monthly at the start of each billing cycle.
  • Payments are processed via Paystack and charged to your saved card or wallet.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You will receive a billing receipt via email after each successful charge.
  • All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription on Easeinbiz, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. This applies once per account, for first-time upgrades from the Free plan only.
  • To request a refund, email support@easeinbiz.com with the subject "Refund Request" within 7 days of your first charge.
  • Include your registered email address and the reason for the refund.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days back to your original payment method.
  • This guarantee does not apply to renewals, plan upgrades, or accounts that have previously received a refund.

3. After the 7-Day Window

  • Subscription payments after the 7-day window are non-refundable.
  • If you cancel after the 7-day window, you retain full platform access until the end of your current billing period.
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a billing cycle.
  • Downgrading to a lower plan takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle — no refund is issued for the difference.

4. Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings → Billing.
  • Cancellation stops future charges. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your data remains accessible on the Free plan limits.
  • You will receive a cancellation confirmation email immediately.
  • To re-subscribe, simply upgrade from your account settings at any time.

5. Situations Where a Refund May Be Granted

Outside the 7-day guarantee, refunds are considered only in the following cases:

  1. Duplicate Charge: If you were charged more than once for the same billing cycle due to a technical error — full refund of the duplicate charge.
  2. Unauthorized Charge: If a charge was made on your account without authorization — report immediately to support@easeinbiz.com for investigation.
  3. Service Outage: If Easeinbiz experiences a verified outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours in a billing cycle, eligible accounts may receive a pro-rata credit.
  4. Platform Cancellation by Easeinbiz: If we discontinue a paid plan or shut down the service, a pro-rata refund will be issued for the unused portion of the billing period.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • You forgot to cancel before the renewal date.
  • You no longer need the service or changed your mind after the 7-day window.
  • A team member used the platform without your knowledge.
  • You were unable to use the platform due to incompatible hardware, browser, or internet connectivity.
  • You are dissatisfied with a feature that was described accurately in our pricing page.
  • Your account was suspended or terminated for a breach of our Terms & Conditions or Acceptable Use Policy.

7. Annual Plans

  • Annual billing (if offered) is subject to the same 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase.
  • After 7 days, annual plan payments are non-refundable. You retain access for the full 12-month period.
  • Cancellation of an annual plan stops auto-renewal at year-end but does not trigger a refund for remaining months.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at support@easeinbiz.com before filing a chargeback with your bank.
  • We typically resolve billing disputes within 2 business days.
  • Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension while the dispute is under investigation.
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may be referred to appropriate legal authorities.

9. Refund Process

  • Email support@easeinbiz.com with subject: "Refund Request — [Your Account Email]"
  • Include your full name, registered email, subscription plan, payment date, and reason.
  • Our billing team will review and respond within 2 business days.
  • Approved refunds are processed via Paystack back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
  • Refunds are issued in Nigerian Naira (₦). We are not responsible for foreign exchange differences.

10. Changes to This Policy

Easeinbiz reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes take effect 14 days after posting. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
